The Leadership at Insight Strategies, LLC Scott has been working with organizations and communities across the country for more than 12 years helping them make the right strategic choices to ensure their future success. He was one of 30 thought leaders from across North America invited by the VHA Health Foundation and DTG to a summit exploring critical questions related to the future of creating healthy communities. He is a regularly featured speaker at national conferences. He was a 1994-95 Fellow with The Healthcare Forum and he participated in the Health Care Colloquium at Harvard University. He is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Detroit-Mercy and was a Diplomate in the American College of Health Care Executives. He was the first elected chair of the internationally recognized and award-winning initiative Creating a Healthier Macomb.
Bob has led organizations that have been recognized nationally for community service and for the development of creative, strategic partnerships for community improvement, with awards that include the AHA Nova award for community services and a national designation as one of 20 Community Care Network Demonstration Grant recipients by the American Hospital Association, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the Kellogg Foundation. He has served in numerous healthcare and civic leadership roles, including on the Board of the Michigan Hospital Association, as Chair of the Board of the Southeast Michigan Hospital Council, and Chair of the Board of the Indiana Health and Hospital Association. Bob is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. |
