Facilitation

Facilitation is a vital tool to efficiently move organizations and teams toward sustainable solutions. In our work, this applies to Board of Directors (governance), senior management teams, middle management teams, clinical and non-clinical teams, work groups as well as a range of other communities of interest (broad community stakeholders such as churches, businesses and municipalities). Our facilitation process enables discovery and engagement.

Our technical expertise in facilitation is combined with the underlying philosophy of process consultation in which the client is an active participant in the relationship. In process consultation, our role is to help our clients discover, perceive, understand and act upon the process events that occur in their environments in order to improve the situation as they define it. Our goal is to provide our clients with insight into their particular situation. Those "ah-ha" moments our clients experience actively engage and prepare them for action to improve their current circumstances. Additionally, our clients are left with increased capacity to proactively address future issues.

The facilitation methodology Insight Strategies utilizes has its roots in various continuous improvement techniques. Our facilitation process utilizes exercises that bring out the highest level of engagement and the best thinking of the group by connecting to the various ways adults learn (auditory, visual, kinesthetic).

Our extensive training and experience in Rapid Redesign for Process Improvement has resulted in great breakthroughs for our clients. This methodology allows for teams of employees who work within a process to participate in redesign efforts that result in significant (and often breakthrough) improvements including reduction in cycle times, reduction in costs, improvement in productivity, reduction of errors, increased customer and staff satisfaction and improvement in quality. Implementation of improvements generally occurs over a short time interval-typically within two to three weeks.
